A step-by-step guide
I recently bought the KlimaTicket and realized that you can only display this ticket in the ÖBB app or the Wiener Linien app, but not in Apple Wallet. After a quick Google search, I couldn't find a simple solution. Fortunately, I found a simple method in the Apple App Store. Here's how you can add your KlimaTicket to the Apple Wallet.
Step-by-step instructions:
Display KlimaTicket in the ÖBB App or Wiener Linien App:
- Add your KlimaTicket in the ÖBB App or Wiener Linien App.
- Opens the ticket and takes a screenshot of the ticket's QR code.
Download Pass2U Wallet:
Download the app Pass2U Wallet from the Apple App Store and opens it.
Create a new passport:

- Select the "Create new pass" option in the app.
- Tap on "Get the barcode..." and select the last option to open the gallery.
- Select the screenshot of the QR code.
Configure passport:
- Select "Other" as the type.
- Enter "KlimaTicket Ö Classic" (or the name of your specific ticket) under Name and Title.
Fill in the fields:
Primary field:
- Title: "Name"
- Value: Your name
Secondary fields:
- Title: "Date of birth" | Value: Your date of birth
- Title: "Number" | Value: The number of your ticket
- Title: "Valid until:" | Value: Validity date of your ticket
Adjust background color:
Enter the following HTML code for the background color: #196D8Fso that the color matches the ticket.
Optional:
- You can screenshot and crop an image from the app to add it for an optimized appearance.
Complete passport:
- Press "Done", click on the pass and add it to your Apple Wallet!
Test and experience
I have already tested this method while traveling by train to Wr. Neustadt and it worked without any problems. This solution is not only practical, but also allows you to have your KlimaTicket ready to hand directly in your Apple Wallet.
