Anyone selling nationwide has a different problem than a tradesperson with a thirty-kilometre catchment. The local advantage falls away: Google cannot favour you for being nearby, because you are not. Instead what decides is how well your page answers the question that was asked, and how fast it does so. A web design agency builds differently for that: more content, clearer structure, fewer place names.
OHNE ORTSVORTEIL
In a local search distance decides, in a nationwide one content does. For you that means: a page of its own per service that answers the question completely, instead of one collection page that touches everything. That is more work and the only route that works without a proximity advantage.
MEHRERE STANDORTE
Companies with branches almost always make the same mistake: one page with all addresses listed underneath each other. Google needs a page of its own and a business profile of its own per location, otherwise the branches compete with each other instead of with the competition. We set that up cleanly from the start.
REMOTE // ABLAUF
We have worked with clients in every province for years and set the process up for it: one video call at the start, then access where you can see the current state at any time, and fixed feedback points instead of email chains. That is faster than monthly on-site meetings.
A website starts at 2,500€ with us for a one-pager, 4,500€ for the usual five to ten pages, and 7,500€ for several languages, several locations or integration with existing systems. For nationwide providers the middle or upper tier is almost always the right one, because more content is needed than for a local business. The price is fixed up front, regardless of where you sit.
ONEPAGER
from 2,500€
One page that says everything that matters.
RECOMMENDED
from 4,500€
The usual scope for a business.
INDIVIDUELL
from 7,500€
When more than a website is involved.

I write the quote, I design, I build. You do not get an account manager standing between you and the work, you talk to the same person from the first question until after launch.
If something does not make sense, I say so, even when that makes the project smaller. In the long run that is more pleasant for both sides. To the east and centre of Austria I am happy to come in person, in the west it usually stays a video call.
Four to eight weeks from the first conversation to going live. The one point where things regularly stall is content. Copy, images and logo come from you, and whoever delivers early goes live earlier. Everything else is on us.
We listen, look at what you already have and send a quote with a fixed price.
This is where projects usually stall. Copy, images and logo come from you, we handle the rest. Deliver early and you go live earlier.
You see a real draft in the browser, not just a picture. Two rounds of revisions are included.
Development, load time, structure for Google, testing on real devices. Nothing needed from you here.
Migration, redirects from the old addresses, registration with Google. Then we hand over and you can maintain it yourself.
Four to eight weeks as a rule. The moment your content arrives is what decides.
The most common mistake among nationwide providers is assuming location no longer matters. It does matter, just differently. Many searches get a local slant from Google automatically, even when no place was typed in. Someone searching in Villach sees different results than someone in Vienna, even when the service is delivered identically everywhere. So for many companies both pay off: a strong umbrella page and individual pages for the places inquiries actually come from.
That is exactly how this website is built. This page is the umbrella, and underneath it sit individual pages for Vienna, Graz, Linz, Salzburg, Tyrol, Styria, Upper Austria and Vorarlberg. Each answers a different question, and none of them is a copy with the place name swapped. If you sit in one of those areas, the respective page is the better fit.
Even selling across the country, you should show on the website where you sit and who is behind it. A legal notice is not enough for that. Companies without a recognisable location come across as interchangeable, and in doubt a prospect picks the one where they know who they are calling.
Our clients are spread across every province, and the work happens on your website, not in a place. For a first conversation we happily travel to the east and centre of Austria, for the west we say honestly that it usually stays a video call.
Google measures three values on real visitors, not in a lab. The largest element has to load in under 2.5 seconds, input has to be answered within 200 milliseconds, and the layout must not jump. All three have to pass, otherwise the page fails. Every website we build in Österreich is checked against exactly these values before it goes live.

Because we tell you when you do not need this page. If your customers come from your own district, a nationwide setup is a waste of money, and then we would rather build a site that wins locally. Conversely, for a nationwide provider a site full of place names achieves nothing. We make that distinction before the first draft, because it decides the whole structure and cannot be corrected afterwards.
Tell us what you offer and whether your customers come from the region or from all of Austria. The whole structure follows from that.

It still matters, just differently. Many searches get a local slant from Google automatically, even when no place was typed in. So for many companies both pay off: a strong umbrella page and individual pages for the places inquiries actually come from.
One page and one Google Business Profile per location. The most common mistake is a single page with all addresses listed underneath each other. Then the branches compete with each other instead of with the competition, and none of them ranks properly. We set that up cleanly from the start.

The simplest test: if your customers have to travel to you for your service, you need a local page. If you deliver or work remotely, a nationwide one. We make that distinction before the first draft, because it decides the whole structure and can only be corrected afterwards with effort.
